Good grocery store right at the airport. If you have some room in your luggage /​carry on fill it up at this store! They have almost everything you need, including a good selection of sandwiches, salads and other food to go. They even have a sushi bar and they make it fresh right there. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have hot coffee/​tea as well and some delicatessen.

The Albert Heijn at Schiphol is one of the small ones (their to go concept) so it mostly offers things one can eat while on the move. Decent selection and often quick service makes it frequent stop for me while at Schiphol as many of the restaurants do not really offer great food and then it is a good alternative to just pick up a yogurt, sandwich or something like that here.
They do actually accept foreign credit cards here which is a plus (did not think I would have to specifically not that about places in the Netherlands but appears as if the standard here is to only accept Dutch cards so do carry cash when in the Netherlands (and if you are going to travel by train (and you are outside Schiphol or the Amsterdam Central station carry coins as the machines do not accept bills or foreign credit cards)
