Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen

Why would you book this hotel in the middle of nowhere?
— good for business purpose
— nice big swimming pool/​sauna/​hammam/​gym open till 10.15pm
— ease of parking
— quite area
Well in short I don’t have much more to say about this place. Actually it looks a bit old for a Hilton. It was handy for me since I had to go the work close by. In other circumstances I would never come here but I didn’t need more for one night. My room was spacious and clean.

A bit out of the way and a small distance from Amsterdam, but a great hotel as far as I’m concerned.
I booked online and pre-​paid for the King Sized Bed and added a rollaway for no extra charge. The room was clean, and had plenty of space for three people. The bathroom was HUGE (Shower, tub, dual mirrors, dual vanity) and had the largest towels I’ve ever seen. The toilet was in it’s own little closet. A little confining but at least it left the bathroom wash area accessible.
Our room had a balcony, free Wifi, and a good channel selection on the TV.
Of course, there are only a couple of negatives… we could only enter the hotel from one entrance, located by the front desk. Small inconvenience. We chose not to eat in the restaurant for breakfast due to the price. We’re cheap and normally do not eat in the hotels anyway, but I’m certain it’s good. The menu looked wonderful.
It’s about a 45-​minute drive from Amsterdam, but in a good location near public transportation and a few cafes down the road in Soest.
Will definitely stay here agin.

Unfortunately, Hilton does not have as many options as I would like in Europe. This property is solid for what it is. It’s not a place to go for your anniversary, but good for business travel. Very good restaurant food; rooms are more Hampton than Hilton — but, again, solid for what it is.
