Pizzeria Rucola is a literal hole-in-wall restaurant. It’s kind of easy to miss as the front entrance is very narrow. Inside you’ll find a simply but tastefully decorated dining area. A blackboard tells you what’s on offer: 32 cm margarita for 15 zł and 45 cm for 18 zł. Additional toppings cost a few zloty each. I ordered the signature«Rucola», which has prosciutto, arugula, and parmesan. The amount of toppings was quite generous. I had a tough time keeping the stuff from falling off. The crust was excellent – thin and chewy, with a slight bit of crunchiness. Not the best pizza Kraków has to offer, but you’ll only find better at more upmarket restaurants. My pizza only cost 25 zł. The 45 cm one, at 34 zł, would be an even better bargain. Great food for not a lot of money – it’s doesn’t get better.
