A great, English/Polish, somewhat American, style brewpub. Like that they had imperial pints, especially for the price! The porter was really good. The other beer, an IPA, was a miss. The space is bright with lots of London/English memorabilia. Rather crowded on a Thursday evening.

This was just ok for me. They had their own beer(English style — hence the name of the pub), which was good though. It was a bit«off the beaten track» for me(maybe there were some shortcuts I did not know about, and I guess I could have taken the tram…). As mentioned they serve English styled ales and some ciders, which is good. Krakow has really gotten in to the whole beer scene which I love by the way. This night it was just sticky inside and loud and I am very picky with what places I like and not, so the interior etc did not speak to me. I know that might come across as a low blow, but its my own, subjective, opinion. You should try it out if ever in Krakow and make your own mind up about the place. I can also add that it has been a long day for me and we came a little late, so it might have had something to do with it(due to the beer scene mentioned a little earlier the previous night). But at the same time, three outta five is ok too. Locals and tourists come here. Price for beer is good. If you go down to the«cellar» you can see beer in the making. I must admit that there are better places for beer in Krakow for me personally, but I guess its a matter of what you prefer.

Probably the best place in Krakow for the home brewed English ales, Though some of the are rather undrinkable for me(too much hops, too much bitter), the other one’s are just perfect. If you’re up to ales, try Phoenix, the pale ale.

One of the places in Krakow that give a possibility to try many not very common types of beer. Definitely worth to check out if someone is a fan of a «golden beverage». Nice location close to Wawel castle and Vistula river.

If you are missing English beer(especially the creamy head of northern beer) this is the place to come. Very good home brewed beer in an English style pub. The food menu looks like nothing worth writing about but I haven’t tried the food so can’t comment. If you are only in Krakow for a weekend go and try something more local.

How can you not like a place that brews their own beer in the basement? A friend of mine was freaked out that it’s served more or less at room temperature, but this is intentional. They’re really tried to re-create an English pub experience — you notice the taps and the pint glasses, which are actual pints and not liters. And you can buy a half which is actually half of the price of a whole pint, which is an anomaly for Kraków. They have pasties as well filled with tasty stuff. I feel like the place is slightly awkward in a way which is hard to articulate, but I really like it. They have a Pub Quiz on Mondays at 20.00, which I have not attended but keep meaning to.

It’s self-evident that beer should be served ice cold. Freedom-loving people who chance upon this establishment at the end of Dietla street will thus be thoroughly dismayed by what they find: warm beer. It’s terribly bitter too.

Very good hand crafted beers at even better prices. If the place has a great event it is great. If it has an average event it’s good because the beer is great. It is isolated which is both good and bad. Great place to host an event. For beer this place gets 5 stars for entertainment I give it 3.

This is quite a nice pub, specialising in ales of various types. I don’t really like ale, but the Kraków Claret I had was ok. There are a few other choices such as cider. The interior is ok, the interior is a bit like a British pub, with wooden tables and not particularly comfortable benches. There are various board games available for clients to play. Downstairs is a TV room and the micro-brewery. This being a «British» pub drinks come in pints, so you get 0.568 litres rather than the usual Polish 0.5L.
