After walking through Old Town for few hours we naturally got hungry. Did I mention that Torun is very charming 14th century town. So we stumbled upon this place, looked very cozy and inviting. I must say I tried pierogi in few other places but nothing like this. The menu is extensive has steamed, oven baked and fried kind, the filling options are endless as well, from savory to sweet. Anyway we shared 4 different ones: (smoked cheese and cranberry, spinach and cheese, liver and mushrooms, meat and sour cabbage) I can’t even say which was best, they were all soo good and flavorful. It’s not just the filling I was impressed with but the dough was amazingly soft. Now I have to live with the fact that this great place is so far away from home.
