Absolutely adorable spot! Once you walk in you are taken by the interior’s green faux painting that fills the ceiling and walls. It is really incredible and unique. Embassy is a bakery and delicatessen of a famous Polish restaurateur Magda Gessler. Her taste in creating fine foods and ambiance suberb! It was hard to decide on sweets to take home with us, but we settled on a meringue with strawberries(torcik bezowy z truskawkami) and lemon square(kwadrat cytrynowy). Of the two I liked the meringue better. It had this amazing soft and creamy center and crsipy exterior. Lemon square was good too, but nothing to rave about. I wish it had more of a real lemon taste. It seems like this would be a great place to take a family member or a friend to catch up over some great dessert and coffee. Parking may be hard to find in this upscale and full of goverment buildings neighbourhood(we also parked on a spot reserved for diplomatic and consular staff– so we had to get our sweets in a hurry and run back to the car), but it’s definitely worth getting there and checking out more spots in the area.
