Amazingly good place. The staff is knowledgeable and very attentive. They will help you choose a beer that should match your taste. Spacious enough with good food as well. And most of all — brilliant selection of tap and bottled Belgian beers! A definite must go if you’re a fan or want to explore word of Belgian beers!

For Belgian beer lovers and sports fans. I’m not a beer fan, but I like Trappist beers and found out about this pub not so long ago. This was my second visit in the pub as my first one didn’t give me the full picture; at least not enough for me to write a review. The original atmosphere of the Old Town’s building is saved by walls showing uncovered red bricks. A huge TV screen on the main wall enables you to watch some sports if you are interested. If not, there are two other rooms. I’m not a sports fan, but I like the seat at the window so I stayed in the main room with the bar and the TV screen. I always appreciate some pillows in such places and to my delight there were a few. Also, a special-conditions camera for the beer shows an enormous range of Belgian beers available for ordering. I liked the opportunity of choosing the potent potable by looking at the items from the menu instead of just looking at the menu itself. On the other hand, if you prefer to enjoy the beer from the keg they offer 21 kinds of such beer. As in most pubs, you order by the counter which is very convenient. This time the owner served me and he did so not only with a great knowledge but also with a subtle suggestion. He revealed much more expertise about the beer that the young people I was served by the first time I was there. I came for some Trappist beer and he helped me to choose a couple. Later, he came to my table to ask if I liked them. I took a Chimay Rouge and an Achel and they were very tasty. I had a Chimay Bleue last time and it was excellent too. I’m still just a girl so I took some Kriek Boon as a dessert and also was not disappointed. All the beers are served in chilled branded glass which is nice and a good idea to enjoy not only the taste but also the looks of the beer. Also, for those who’d like to remember the beer they liked, there are special cards available at the counter with the pub’s name, logo and address details on one side and a space for your notes on the other. The pub offers some appetizers such as Belgian fries, onion rings, burgers and steaks. Unfortunately they were not available that day, except for the fries which were not very Belgian but were served with two tasty sauces(chosen from a few). The fries were brought to my table a few minutes after they were ordered so it was nice to have them with my beer and not after. I guess the worst thing is the price of the beer there — 18 zloty for 330 ml but there are some more expensive ones too. But this is The Old Town in Warsaw, so you have to be prepare for the prices. I give 4 stars for the immense range of beer, the owner’s assistance and the clean restroom(still a girl) VS. really high prices. I’ll definitely come back, at least to try all the rest of Trappist beers.
