The décor was pretty cool: log-cabin style, with shawls and the like indicating that this is a place with food from the ‘East.’ Here, that means the Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, etc. The waitress was quite attentive, and the place was fairly packed — though it *is* small. There was outdoor seating too, though we opted out because it was raining. Ambiance and service I’d give a 4.5÷5. I ordered plow(pronounced pl-oh-v) from one of the –stan countries: it was like a cross between paella and Moroccan cous-cous. It was a bit greasy for me, didn’t really resemble the photo on the sign, and my husband claimed the lamb tasted like pork, but I was content with it. He ordered a meat pasty, which was bigger than he expected, and an order of dumplings called masty. The beer was decent, he said. Overall, I’d give the food a 3.5÷5.
