I was here 4 times — 1 breakfast, twice during summer and recently in Jan 2014. I think I may be subjective, cause I really like atmosphere of this place. What I like about meal here is surprising combination of ingredients & tastes. For me it’s the best combination of Polish flavours with small exotic, very often Asian additive. I’m also fan of this place cause I like different kinds of home-​made drinks & lemonades and I really like offer of Funkcjonalna. Size of starters make them ideal for both sharing with another person but also eating soup /​getting proper meal if you are really hungry. My only challenge so far and it happened twice are meat dishes:/.
I once took duck with pok choy and I was not able to bite eat and go through it taste, luckily I was with friend and we changed dishes — but also salmon was a little bit heavy — but I think this is their style :) in 2014 winter offer there is also halibut again in more heavy set. From the current menu — Jan 2014 I can really recommend apple and parsley soup, it’s a must for those liking new tastes :). It’s creamy, with clear taste of apple but not too sweet & too fruity — the wasabi additive only make it better and really fits this combination. We also had leek pancake — portion consists of 2 with garlic sauce — a small, spicy starter, not too greasy with fresh taste of leek. But again main — beef ossobuco was a challenge. Barley and sauce was great but meat hard to bite and gave no pleasure of eating :) Maybe it is not the type of meat for such dish or we are not able to appreciate but we left a lot on the plate. But luckily enough I got space to eat rosemary crème brule. I like this variant cause it’s not too sweet and it’s not a pudding but has creamy texture. If you prefer sweet desserts — go for ice cream — they offer here nice tastes and they are worth trying. We had warm lemonade — again good choice and even w ordered only a glass we get free top up. No idea if it will be forever but we also got free small welcome snack — really nice mixture of red cabbage and creamy cheese :). Again place was complete — old Polish music — Mieczysław Fogg, heat from koza (old type of heater with real fire), very nice service. Unfortunately main curse below expectations, but all together again good visit and I’m really curious about other dishes from the new menu.

The food was ok (we took the lunch). Soup and mail course (vege or with meat). The menu is quite short as for the meals, but nice egg stuff and many drinks. The place rather sad and simple. Not a big fan, but may come back.
Free wifi, but didn’t check how it works. The pass is on all menus (since it’s very long and hard to type).
