La Fragola

This place is really great. I love their food. I always order sweets but my husband tried the tomato soup and said it was great. As for me i tried their best seller, which is a big ice cream scoop with fruits topped with whipped cream and berries or strawberry syrup. It’s amazing and i love it. My husband got the one with bananas and he liked it. I went with my friend and she tried strawberry ice cream with chocolate. I tried it and it was good. But i still go for the vanilla ice cream with fruits every time. I tried their coffee too and to me it was alright, nothing special. However, i tried the yogurt drink they have with berries syrup and blue berries. And i loved it!
I also tried their so call cream brûlée and it tasted like cream caramel to me. But it still wasn’t bad.
The service and the place interior are both nice too.
However, i totally recommend this place!

What can I say — the crepes were delicious (I got the strawberry and cheese ones, and my cousin got the cherry and cheese ones). They have a wide assortment of options.
However, one thing that I can not stand for and the main reason this review is so low is the horrible service and even worse coffee. I ordered an iced coffee, and instead received basically a glass of milk with maybe — maybe just a slight hint of coffee in it. Also, it was not even cold, it was lukewarm! I called over the server and complained, asking her if she could maybe pour out half of it and just pour in coffee. I speak polish, by the way, so there was definitely no miscommunication about what happened. She told me that this is the way they make the coffee, that she did it by recipe, and that it could absolutely not be changed. I literally told her that this is just milk, and she said nothing could be done and left. Really? Really? Nothing could be done to make my iced coffee stronger? She could have not even suggested adding in an espresso shot for extra charge?
As someone from NYC who values their coffee and service very highly, I considered her actions disrespectful and frankly, stupid. Sorry but it isn’t hard to add a little extra coffee into a cup and spill out some milk! I didn’t even care if it would come back to me lukewarm (although that is what ice is for!) Will not be coming back here again.
