Mezze

Amazing!!! Such a cute, cozy little place with heaping portions of amazing Mediterranean fare!!! Popped in yesterday with a friend and we had the tomato soup and hummus and falafel dish. Not only was every single dish fresh and wonderful, the portion sizes are huge… Even this American couldn’t finish her entire plate! Haha! They also brew their own tea… Unlimited refills! The best thing about the trip was especially the people behind the counter, their English is fantastic… The guy with the piercing blue eyes will make amazing recommendations and even joke around with you!!! All of the staff are nice, friendly and helpful to customers, I’ve never seen this kind of strong customer service at many other places in Poland, so I really recommend Mezze for those who want tasty food, great service, and a nice atmosphere!

I have to say I am not a big fan of vegetarian food. Nevertheless, a pita falafel was tasty. The price was also good. Nice to taste something new in a good atmosphere (both service inside and view on a green park outside).

Finally I visited it and I regret it took me so much time ;-). Place is really tiny, with places for approx 16 people, it has summer garden ad I do hope it will be moved to a bigger place ;-). It is not a place for longer meal or romantic dinner — tables and chairs are simple and encouraging quick eating, but no worries, you will not feel pressure or fast food rush — it is just more a bar than a restaurant. It offers hummus, falafel, various pitas — short, vegetarian menu but really delicious, with spicy and clear flavors. As fan of mango I took Sabich and I really liked it — even with cooked egg which I usually don’t like. It was spicy but not killing and went really well with ayran — also offered in Mezze. Besides Ayran they offer selection of fresh bottled juices. Service is really nice — as I had to wait for my take away meal they offered me a free tea :), which was a very nice treat as waiting time was relatively long — 15 minutes for me, but it was really crowded once I was there and you could feel everything was just made shortly before serving :). To sum up if you like such cuisine you will enjoy the place, if you haven’t even tried Mezze is a good place to do so, but it is more a drop by — quick meal place with healthy and delicious food, be prepared to wait a little bit for you food when the place is full but don’t give up and do so ;-).
