The place from the inside is small and usually you might have to wait for an empty table. When it comes to food, the pancakes are okay, nothing special but their crepes are fantastic. This place is worth a try nevertheless.

I went with my husband and i ordered Oreo Pancakes and it wasn’t done well. It was dry from the edges and it was not done well from the inside. There wasn’t enough sauce. My husband ordered an egg sandwich (It wasn’t on the menu) and he made sure they know it’s just the egg with the veggies. And they still gave us a burger with eggs. The burger had one patty in the middle of two eggs. And when they changed the order they brought in just one egg sandwich. We already paid for a full patty burger with two eggs!!! The service isn’t good and neither is the food!

Visiting Mr. pancake is an experience in itself! Both exterior and interior don’t look like much but the food could not be more indulgent. I know it seems like just a pancake house but really, don’t eat anything before coming here but most people can’t even finish the pancakes. The portions are nothing less than huge: you get five fluffy thick pancakes with toppings of your choice. I had the brownie options, which includes nutella, a pop tart, ice cream and syrup and I only finished half of it. So if you are a small eater, don’t be as silly as my friend, who ordered a milkshake with whipped cream to go with her pancakes. Flavour-wise it wasn’t «amazing»: pretty much all I could taste after a while was nutella but still, just to see this enormous amount of sweet food coming your way is worth the 7 euros I paid for the pancakes and a drink!

A nice range of pancakes, you get 5 on every plate so don’t order to much. Need something more food-like? They have burgers, crepes and milkshakes (brings all the boys to the yard). The restaurant is sparsely decorated with Ikea, pine and stickers. Very hip. It’s like a street-picnic on the sidewalk with colourful fencing and parasols. Sit down relax and be a local hero.
2 pancake plates + 2 coffees = I don’t remember. To busy eating and not being on a diet.

Went for American-style pancakes. Disappointment. The pancakes were dry, only a small amount of syrup is served, the coffee was cold and the service left a bit to be desired. Nevertheless, it is one of the very few places one can find American-style pancakes in town so if you’re desperately craving them, give it a try.
