Small portions, unfriendly and rude staff. I was in Warsaw for business meetings and met a potential client here. Staff impolitely told me they are not open and had to wait to be seated(even tough it was 10 am). The food was average in taste and I expected something more spectacular. The onset should seriously reconsider his venture.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in town. I had almost everything from the menu and all was delicious. But I went there today and I was shocked. We took some mezze and Turkish pizza. Both were bad so we decided not to order anything more. Unfortunately I must admit that food in Sofra is not good anymore, service is unhelpful, slow and kinda sad. Actually I’m confused — is it Macedonian or Turkish? Well, it doesn’t matter if the food is not even average. Don’t go there.

One of the best Turkish cuisines in town, you can order classical turkish foods(not kebap) as close to original ones. Also brunch on sundays highly recommended.

Super restaurant in a lovely setting. Excellent value for money and a great menu choice. The service was very quick and attentive, the portion sizes were very decent and the food was delicious. Went here for dinner while on holidays in Warsaw. I would definitely recommend this place and if I visit Warsaw I would make a point to going here again.

One of the best places for weekend brunch in the area! Middle eastern buffet brunch can’t be beaten. Offering assortment of salads, breads, cheeses, soups, and warm dishes is just a pleasure. Of course, served with unlimited Turkish coffee or tea. Yum yum! For dinner the menu has much to offer as well. Dishes are well-deserved, meat if exquisite and portions are probably enough for two people. Shrimp skewer are marvelous, highly recommended! They bring just made pita to your table taken out of the oven seconds before, accompanied with garlic butter. For appetizers I recommend tzatziki and hummus. Plenty of sitting area in and out doors. Friendly service, beautiful homy decoration. This restaurant is a Gem in downtown Warsaw. Looking forward to the next visit!

Stumbled upon this place when I was in Warsaw recently at a conference; it’s a few blocks away from the Marriott where we were staying. I’m so glad we went in! At first glance from the outside, it looks like a café/bakery; it’s actually a combination of two places. Once you go in, you’re treated to a very eclectic combination of décor. We kept commenting on our unique wooden table. But let’s get to the important part — the food and the service! We shared a few appetizers and they were delicious. Hummus, baba ghanoush and other dips with a few different kinds of breads. The oil was amazing. For a main course, I got the chopped lamb and beef from the grilled selections; I’ll post a photo so you see which one. I think the Polish translates to «meat with a side of meat.» I’m not complaining, it was awesome! You have the option of ordering it mild or spicy; get it hot if you like that, it was out of this world. They also have a great wine selection. We ordered a few desserts and shared them — do not skimp on desserts, it’s worth it here! Our server was probably the best part of the experience — he made great recommendations, was very patient with us(he spoke English, none of us spoke Polish) and it was a fun, affordable evening. A real highlight of our visit to Poland!
