Five stars are going to Unilocal event!
I can‘t be objective, when talk is about Unilocal events. They are always great, they are always funny and they are always have their own spirit.:) This time a lot of compliments for great organizer –Julita. Thank you for the inspiration to come to this brunch, despite that from my point of view and especially from my point of home it was far far far away. It was first time I made so much efforts too get my breakfast.:)
What concerns «My Place Café», I am not so excited. It is good, cozy place to drink coffee or to have some breakfast if you are living in Mokotów, it is Sunday morning and your fridge are living hard days. The breakfast is also very cheap. You can choose your breakfast from few offers. Breakfast plus coffee/​tea plus fresh juice cost around 18 zl. Unfortunately, the breakfast are very simple and not so special. I took «Polish breakfast», which was composed from ham, cheese, boiled egg, some bread, butter and vegetables. My colleague took sandwich, which for me looked a bit small and dry. There are not pancakes, omelette or other warm food I usually expect from the brunch, when I am going out.
What disappointed the most it was long long waiting. Of course, our Unilocal group was huge and around 20 persons and only two ladies was working here. The ladies were really nice and polite, but unfortunately couldn‘t deal with this huge crowd. I was waiting my breakfast for one hour, I got my juice maybe 15 – 20 min later (in «Vilnius alus» (Lithuanian beer) glass, what is was surprise and a bit funny for me). My morning coffee arrived the last, maybe after 1,5 –2 hour of waiting and like real addict person, who couldn‘t imagine that day and talks can begin without coffee (Yes, I am Monika and I am coffeeholic) it wasn‘t funny at all.
To conclude, if you are living in neighborhood of this place and you lazy or not have time or food to make morning sandwiches — this place is perfect for you. The ladies are polite and nice and «Café» seems like place friendly for pyjamas and unkempt hairs, so you can bravely show your Sundays laziness without any punishment. On the other hand, I am strongly not recommend to visit this place with all your classmates, midsummer weddings guests, or after birthday hangovers gang. It is too much for this place and for this guy, with pyjamas pants, who is sitting in the corner.

It was a pleasure to see all of you again and to meet some new faces. I always look forward to these group events and haven’t been disappointed yet. :) As a Mokotówer the place chosen to host this event was great being only a 15 minute bike ride from my flat. The food was tasty, the fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing. Plus a coffee all for only 18 zł. So far we have a happy Krzysztof ! :)) Unfortunately what diasappointed me was the waiting times. I know we were a big group and maybe they’re not used to serving so many at once but I just can’t accept waiting almost an hour and a half for a cup of coffee. I was one of the lucky ones to get served my food first but still I had to wait about 40 minutes for it. Some of the people sitting near me were waiting for over an hour before their food arrived. The staff was very friendly the entire time and did apologize for the long wait which was nice because I appreciate honesty over half-​assed excuses. The event itself gets 5 stars because everything went as planned and Julita did a great job organizing it but the place itself will get a separate, lower rating on its own page.

Thank you Julita for organizing! And thank you for taking me outside of downtown area! So nice seeing Mokotow and exploring new places.

Waiting times… Oh well! The conversation was so great that it didn’t felt so long. Definitely brunch is on my top of Unilocalers activities.

Thanks to Julita for choosing this place, especially for those like me that has been accommodated in the city center; this was a good opportunity to inhale new airs.
I have to say that at the beginning, Julita, I thought you were going to invite us to your own place to breakfast: D then I just noticed that it was only the name of the bar ^_​^
My place had a wide variety of salty or sweet breakfast, as well as teas, so that means good choice, at least the one I’ve order!
