Nice place close to Jana Pawla and of course my saturday’s stop: Hala Mirowska. It’s not very big coffee but enough to take a drink, chat a little bit with friends or even read a book or a magazine.
They have a nice terrace outside, so you can enjoy the good weather during summer days :)

Had a fantastic brunch consisting of a smoked salmon sandwich with horseradish and a pancake filled with mozzarella and grilled vegetables. Drank the fresh juice (try the mixed one!) and a nice cup of coffee.
Staff was helpful, nice, and spoke english.

Lovely little pretension-​free café just off Jana Pawla, near the Westin Hotel. Served by a friendly bunch of hip staff, I had a lovely breakfast with freshly squeezed juice while listening to Daft Punk and eyeing up the (playable) Nintendo on the wall. Fast wifi allowed me to spend a further few comfortable hours working while drinking (fresh) mint tea and sampling various other bits and pieces. Recommended.

When travelling we love finding authentic, neighbourhood places with friendly vibes and real soul. Zagadka fits the bill in all respects. It became our home away from home for our last few days in Poland.
The staff are welcoming and warm (English is spoken, but Polish is appreciated), the food is simple but delicious, and the coffee is great!
The décor is eclectic and artistic and, perhaps most notable of all, there is a first generation Nintendo console where patrons can play the original Mario Brothers! What more can one ask of a neighbourhood coffee shop/​resto/​bar?

I needed a warm meal to kickstart a frosty morning and this was the perfect place. An English menu was on hand — always appreciated — and the staff were friendly. I had a lovely ham omelette, which came with a side of fresh salsa and four pieces of toast with garlic butter. Filled me right up, and the takeaway coffee kept the good feeling going. Easy to recommend.
