I found this place three years ago on my first night visiting Wrocław. I was walking with my friend around Rynek and heard jazz music from inside. As we walked in the restaurant, we were greeted by a great atmosphere reminiscent of an old movie. We went there again last night and the quality both of the food and live music has continued to be high. I had the Roasted Duck in Madeira Sauce. The duck was perfectly cooked, and the flavor was masterfully complemented with the liver.
This place never disappoints.

When a menu is this extensive it is impossible to serve everything fresh… However, we stopped there on the recommendations of a friend. indeed, the place is nice and the service is good.
I had the vegetarian spicy couscous. It was very well presented, tasty and a bit spicy as indicated but not too much and I was completely full at the end! An excellent quality price ratio for the location!
My partner chose the duck dish and was rather satisfied with it even though it was a bit dry for a supposedly sous-​vide cooked dish and the french fries were somewhat undercooked. However, the livers on toast were exquisite.

Das Restaurant wurde uns von unserer Vermieterin empfohlen. Die Karte ist in Englisch und Polnisch verfasst und bietet einfalllsreiche Küche im gehobeneren Preisniveau (Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und großes Getränk ca. 22 EUR). Die Restauranteinrichtung greift das Thema Film auf, doch im Sommer genießt man besser den wunderschönen Blick über den Marktplatz mit Brunnen und häufig auch den Darstellungen von Straßenkünstlern. Das Essen ist appetitlich angerichtet und lässt auch geschmacklich nichts zu wünschen übrig. Lediglich für einen schnellen Happen würde ich dieses Lokal nicht empfehlen etwas Zeit muss man mitbringen. Doch im großen und ganzen emfehlenswert.
PS.: Karte ist mit Englisch-​Anfängerkenntnissen schwer verständlich. Evtl. mit Wörterbuch bewaffnen.
