Pizzaiolo

Brazilian pizza place and restaurant. Service was good. Food was ok but cheaper than Ferrari gourmet a few doors down. Came here for the Brazilian caipirinhas. Did not disappoint. I would go back but not for the food.

My wife (ela e Brasileira) and I loved this place! The pizza here was great and was made like it is in Brasil — full of toppings! The crust was also very crispy and it all went down smoothly with Guarana Antartica. The owner (ela e Brasileira tambem) was very welcoming and the service was spot on. If you’re craving pizza, don’t hesitate to go here!

Both the appetizers and Pizzas were excellent. Great food, children friendly, price was right and below our expectations. Had a greaft time, great birthday party. Loved the Brazilian appetizers…

You wouldn’t think it from the outside (pretty easy to pass this place right by), but the food here is very good. I haven’t had any food from here that has disappointed me yet.
For appetizers, I’ve had the calamari, which was very good, and the stuffed chicken croquettes (I forget the actual name), which were also delicious. For pizza, I’ve had the chicken and spinach as well as some kind of ham and sliced tomato pizza (again, I forget the name… most of the stuff is in Portuguese).
As far as service goes, they’re friendly enough but be prepared to break out your Spanish, none of the waitresses have spoken any English when I’ve gone in. The only reason I don’t give this place 4 stars is because their prices are kind of high… maybe because they’re in the tourist zone. The prices are as high if not higher than Pirilo’s…no offense, but I wouldn’t quite put Pizzaiolo on the same level as them. However, if you’re in the Isla Verde area and want a decent pizza, Pizzaiolo will not disappoint.

Have been coming for years and it’s always been consistent. Great crunchy crust awesome caipirinhas!

worst pizza ever, worst service ever! the pizza was all burned! the waitress started arguing with a friend of mine, and we don’t even know why! i think she was drunk or high! she didn’t bring him a plate and told him, «you don’t get to eat!» just like that! and on top of that, she wanted her 15% tip! get a clue! you’re supposed to earn the tip!

Nice place but pizza wasn’t anything special and it is expensive

Food was awesome and so were the drinks. The place was perfect to watch the soccer game and the service was awesome!

I wasnt impressed, i’ve had better. They are crusty that is a good thing but I was expecting a better experience. The place is small, the waiters were too Estoy ocupado, ahora te llamo talking among them.

Unfortunately my latest round of pizza and wings was not as good as previous. The crust and pizza itself seemed overcooked, almost like it wasn’t fresh, like the kind of pizza that sits too long under heat lamps. The toppings were a little sparse too. As for the wings, they were actually the opposite, a bit undercooked versus how I like them, in other words, not crispy or lacking that fried chicken exterior texture.

Pizza on a french bread crust – sauce is similar but just a tiny bit different. Whole milk mozzarella. Tasty stuff. I wasn’t big on their ham – lots of it but kind of bland. Pepperoni pizza was great; there are also lots of other things, but we didn’t get too adventurous.
Good service, nice atmosphere.

No es la mejor pizza en la Isla.

Thin crust, good amount of cheese, and a tasty pizza overall. They have some unique ingredients on some of their pizzas like eggs. The egg was fine, but really didn’t add much flavor. I will eat here again, egg or not, the pizza is really good.

The service is impeccable, get the pizza portuguesa and a caipirinha! Highly recommended!

Home Away from Home. The best pizzeria in town, SUPER GOOD!!!

pizzaiolo is a great neighborhood brazilian pizza place — they do have a whole dine-​in experience, with appetizers and the like, which i’ve never tried, but they also have pizzas for take out, which i’ve gotten many times.
they’re thin-​crusted, french bread pizzas, with fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomato, and they’re definitely the best pizzas we’ve had in isla verde (faccio pizza leaves much to be desired).
take out from pizzaiolo is quick, it’s always a crowd– pleaser for guests (especially of the teenage sibling variety), it’s always warm, and our order is always correct. well done!
