yes yes its walgreens of course, just like in the states but if you are in a nearby hotel and dont want to pay 4 bucks for a coke in your hotel room go to walgreens nearby. My wife and i went and stocked up on a whole bunch of snacks and goodies and cheap. so go check it out as well dont buy anything in your hotel room lol

Yay! During a brief holiday to San Juan, my friends and I came here quite often to stock up on all sorts of basics. First time we stopped by was to buy some sunscreen but found that they also had alcohol so we purchased a bottle. The next time around, we came to pick up chasers and snacks. And then the final time, we came here to satisfy a cup noodle craving. All in all, prices are decent, selection of stuff is broad, and the staff are friendly.

It’s small by mainland standards and looks a little old and dated. But if your staying at a hotel close by in Isla Verde then this little almost nothing Walgreens is gold in terms of savings. They have the basics at reasonable prices, sodas, water, basic beer and wine.
Don’t expect a big selection of anything but do be happy that you are not paying the gift shop/mini bar prices.
If your staying at the Ritz Carlton it’s a three minute walk; yes I time it, just head out the front door and turn right.
If you need anything other than basic beer and wine go to Mad Dog Liquor Store next door.
