After 10+ years, the Chop House is shutting its doors tonight. Dorado has lost its best Asian restaurant.

We visited the restaurant today and honestly it was horrible. The owner treated us very harsh just as we entered the place, telling us that its was crouded and that he was stressed and overworked. My family entered to look at the menu and he literally asked us to take a step back. We felt insulted and left the place. We highly discourage any body from Visiting this place

Our first encounter with this restaurant was underwhelming. Contrary to other asian restaurants in Puerto Rico, the service was unremarkable and the food was far from being memorable. Prices are questionable, and we rather repeat other experiences(nearby) where we actually feel welcomed. Good tap water though!(-;

This place was fantastic! Sushi was very fresh and melted in our mouths. All the food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. We are coming back here every chance we get!

Chop House Is The Best Chinese restaurant in Puerto Rico. The restaurant has Chinese, Japanese cuisine and Teppanyaki. The sushi is very good. The fish is always fresh and Sam the owner of the restaurant is always present in the restaurant. We have been eating here and in the previous restaurant in the Cerromar hotel for many years and have found the food to be consistently good. It is the only Chinese restaurant in Puerto Rico to have earned a bronze fork culinary award.

Nice ambiance and the food is ok. the sushi isn’t great but some of the appetizers are quite good. as it’s a bit out of the way it’s rarely crowded.
