Bar Six

I wasn’t aware of this joint even being to LKF multiple times, located on the 6^th floor in one of the buildings in Wyndham street, Bar six is quite an idea spot for private parties.
The very determining factor on whether the bar is good often lies at whether the bar tender could make good drinks and this place sure delivers. From the size of the mortar and pestle behind the bar, you know the mojito would be nice. A good balance between the freshness of the mint and lime and the strength of triple sec, grinding the ingredients using a mortar and pestle gives that extra burst of flavor and all the scented oils and flavor from the mint leaves and the peel of the citrus could be released. It would be better yet if the taste could be slightly sharper, the acidity will help so much in providing freshness to the glassful.
Another drink that’s top of my list would be the apple martini. As a strong cocktail, apple martinis often forget the word «apple» in front and resulting in a very alcoholic beverage. Bar six’s rendition of appletini remains its strength but the taste of the apple is very much accentuated; yet again, may be it’s due to my preference in sourness, I would like the drink to be a bit more sour, but again, it is entirely my personal preference.
Credits to Kevin (applause), we have had a wonderful evening with good ambiance, good drinks and most importantly, good people. With very friendly, almost playful staff, bar six is a good place to chill out after a long week of work. I somehow think this place is rather classy, may be it’s because of the posh British accents the staff speaks in?

I had a great time in this bar last night with the Unilocalers, was truly a successful gathering. Thanks Kevin! It is awesome to meet new people, everyone is friendly and easy to get along. I enjoy sharing stories and experiences with each other, kind of guilty though to realize someone has never been to LKF before, haha, hope others enjoyed the night just like me.
Well, talking about Bar Six, or should be written as «Bar 6ix», as shown inside, it is nice, delicate and comfortable, which is a lounge designed bar, with two long sofa chairs placed aside as «L» shape, so plenty of space and privacy are provided. There is a smoking area outside in terrace, where you can sit on high chair to enjoy whiskey and cigar. The view is not very attractive but sitting tall outside in concrete jungle is always enjoyable.
More than that, Will, the manager and his team are super friendly and cheerful, they recommended different cocktails, came around all the time to make sure the drinks were good, taught the girls magical tricks –burn your finger with fire, haha, which was a really cool lesson before we left with big smiles.
Btw, Kevin, we called you to get another drink but you didn’t answer, haha, next time maybe!
