if you are an Australian, when you see the name bondi you will know there’s gotta be something Aussie about this place. And I was right !!
Bondi is opened by an owner who has lived in Australia for over 20 years with the passion for food, wine and coffee .
The place is located in an upscaled manufacturing area in Lai chi kok and is close to mtr D2.
The menu changes according to seasonal produce. Today we ordered the beetroot risotto with deep fried salmon and squid ink noodle with pesto sauce.
Every lunch set comes with soup, bread and a standard drink (black coffee, tea).
Honestly the flavour is okay but it is a bit pricey for its location and food.
I would recommend giving this place at least one try if you are around !

Considering its location — Lai Chi Kok — I gave it a 4 star. It adds a much needed variety to the unending rows of Chinese cafes (茶餐廳) in the area. (I love my Chinese cafes but I don’t always wants to travel all the way to Sheung Wan for a weekend brunch…)
Price is excellent. Grilled NZ rack of lamb for HK$ 148 and Australian ribeye for HK$ 158? I am sold! The coffee here is also legit! So if you just want something light, there is also the option.
Note: This place is located inside the Elite industrial Centre on the 2nd floor.
