Bonjour

When we Hong Kongers think cheap drugstore, the first thing that comes to most of our minds is Sasa. Sasa isn’t a wrong answer or anything, it’s just that there are places that are (even) more affordable — and one such place is Bonjour.
There are many more Sasas than there are Bonjours here, and Bonjour generally is smaller and has a smaller variety, but Bonjour is actually quite a bit cheaper than Sasa. Like other drugstores, they stock a range of makeup, skincare, toiletries etc and most of the brands that you would find in Watsons, Mannings and Sasa you’d find here and at a cheaper price! For example, I often buy the Taiwanese brand of My Beauty Diary masks. They’re sold at Watsons and Mannings for around $ 58 a box and at Sasa at $ 54. I thought that was cheap, until I discovered that they’re selling at Bonjour for $ 51! Obviously I’ll be buying my masks, and many other things, at Bonjour from now on!
Unfortunately, since Bonjour is smaller, it does have a smaller variety of products — like for the My Beauty Diary masks, the selection at Sasa is bigger than at Bonjour. But if what you’re looking for is something that’s common, it’s likely to be available at Bonjour for a cheaper price. I find that shopping at Bonjour isn’t always a great experience because sometimes it’s crowded and the shop is pretty small so it’s hard to move around, so I usually get what I want, pay and get out of there!
