The store was conveniently located at the MTR station so I decided to try it out. For those from North America, Cha for Tea is essentially Ten Ren’s.
I got the black milk tea with pearls $ 19. This is the simplest drink of the whole menu and is usually the one I choose when I first try a new location. I make my own bubble tea at home and worked at a tea shop before so I am a bit bias.
FOOD/​DRINK
Bland — barely tasted the black tea, the tea did not taste like it was steeped enough. I saw them pour the tea and it looked watered down.
Undercooked pearls — this is a pet peeve of mine to drink a cup of bubble tea and the tapioca/​pearls being overlooked or undercooked. It hurt my jaw chewing the pearls that were in the drink.
