The best egg rolls in the world. One has to learn to wake up early and wait in line. They sell out fast. I hear they take phone orders for pickup next day, but have not tried. This is strictly a Cantonese only type of place. I love their coconut flavor. (they have 3 flavours: original, butter, coconut; and two sizes: 1lb or 2lb) I can eat a whole large tin. It’s flaky, fragrant, and embodies Hong Kong flavour. Every bite bursts into heavenly shards of egg, butter, coconut… mmm. The stars align. The world stops.
My husband came late once during a short business trip, and they had no more. He begged in English and explained the wrath of his wife if he came back empty handed (sweating in his suit at 38C and 90% humidity), and they let him buy only a small box to bring back to Toronto.
Note: these do not travel well. Hold them on your lap on the flight home, or expect to eat them like cereal with a spoon.

I can eat a whole tin of 德成號 egg roll by myself in one seating and I won’t even feel guilty about that!
One of the best or The Best egg roll I ever ate?! Rich in egg taste and so flaky and light!!!
I had no problem picking up my tin and there was not even anyone aside from myself when I dropped by. Maybe I am just lucky?!
Just get one and give it a try. And no sharing please!
