This is one of the 2 late night Chinese dessert options in Central, the other one is 玉葉 on peel street. If you after some «proper» tofu dessert without the Central price tag, this is the place for you and you don’t have to go far into the dark side or along either side of the island. Tofu dessert is so versatile, a thumbs up to whoever invented it, you can consume chilled during summer or hot during winter. You also add a variety of toppings, so please don’t be too creative and stick to the true asian style. So chocolate sauce is a big no no even they offer on the menu for the adventurous.

Dream tofa is a hidden gem! I wouldn’t have thought about venturing in till someone recommended the place to me. It’s a small outfit with just 3 seats. The tofa is silky smooth and there are many varieties to choose from. Only non-​gmo soy beans are used. I also tried the soy bean milk with black sesame — really good. It’s fragrant, flavorful, and keeps your hair black! ;)

They serve a variety of soy based dessert: tofu dessert (tofu fa), soymilk, congee with soybeans, etc. There are many flavors. For example, the soymilk comes in chocolate, aloe, coconut, ginger, etc.
Red bean tofu dessert with ginger soup (hot) — This was a perfect combo for dessert. Definitely hit the spot for tofu dessert, and the flavors were just right and not too sweet
Service:
The woman that was helping us was super friendly and chatty. She answered all the questions we had and told us about the celebrities that have been there, what kinds of dessert are popular, and even gave us some samples to try.
Price:
Red bean tofu dessert with ginger soup — $ 28
Next time I will have: Pork bone congee with soybeans! ($ 28)

I have been on a quest to search for tasting street Siu Mai ever since I came back to Hong Kong. After two months of trying like many Fish Siu Mai, I found the fish Siu Mai offered hear most closely resemble my favorite Siu Mai in Canada.
Many street vendor offer Siu Mai that is chewy but very flour like, as if plastic texture, and most often time lacking fish flavor. However, the Siu Mai offered here is abundant with fish taste but a bit lacking in chewy texture. But this is the way I liked it. Most importantly, this might suggest them being hand made and healthier with better ingredients. I will definitely come back for more even though the price is double compared to other places.
I have yet to try out the tofu fa, but I when I come back to try it, I will update my review.
