Watch out for their service and customer policies. Think twice before you use these guys. It seems like they are a franchise so if you have any issues do not think that they can resolve them. I have a friend who paid for services and despite having a receipt was told that he could not use it. Customer service then refused to help him and was left with no refund, no photos and no product. Despite the small amount of money it seems there are many complaints against this chain. My friend used the Sheung Wan branch, not sure if they are all the same but just want to warn you guys.

Anyone living HK is no stranger to Fotomax, and I’ve actually done a review on the Fotomax in New Town Plaza when I was there to photocopy some documents. But the other day, I was at the Fotomax at Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay for a different purpose — to get pictures developed — and I was pretty impressed with the good service and location overall.
A bit of a back story — I was going to a friend’s birthday gathering later and I had bought a nice picture frame for her a while ago but never had time to get around to printing the photo to put in it. We were meeting up at Causeway Bay so I decided to go to the Fotomax at Fashion Walk (Aeon) after a Google search told me there was one there.
What I didn’t know was that there was a minimum payment of $ 12 for printing pictures, but I only wanted to print one photo which would only cost $ 1.8. The staff, who was very nice, told me that I may as well print seven copies of that photo and pay $ 12.6, rather than pay $ 12 for one copy of the photo — of course, I said yes. He told me that I can come back in an hour, but I didn’t have an hour — I walked around Jusco for about half an hour later and then came back, asking if he could rush it, and he told me to come back in ten minutes and it’ll be done.
Taking his word, I returned about ten minutes later and the photos were ready for collection. I would recommend checking out this Fotomax if you’re looking for a place to get some printing done. Its location in Fashion Walk makes it not as busy as other outlets, and while waiting, you can walk around at the Jusco supermarket or the $ 12 shop to pass the time.
