Compared to the Cathay Pacific lounges this lounge is a bit lackluster.
The highlights here is probably the Noodle Bar (HK style fishball noodle soup!) and if you are leaving from gate 18 or 19 you can actually see if you are boarding or not (and also look down at the people without lounge access to the gate). Or if you are leaving from gate 16 (it’s named after that gate) or 17.
Maybe 15 too as its on the same wing. But if you’re at 15, and a one world member you may as well just go to the Qantas lounge.
I’d say It’s a step above the pay-​in plaza premium lounge where you can order meals here. And definitely seems a bit quiet.
Just don’t expect to find power sockets or showers here.

I love the wonton noodle of G16 lounge!!! When I fly out to Japan in the morning, I usually skip breakfast and eat the wonton noodle here! The best way to end my trip before I leave HK!
