Another burger place. Apparently the Chinese think all Americans eat are burgers or steaks. And all we think is that they eat Panda Express(I would kill for Panda Express after smelling what they really eat) The burgers are good, not fabulous. The food is on the smaller side, but so are the people so maybe they could teach us a lesson or two in portion control! The prices are, oh I dunno. It is hard to constantly divide by 6. I spent $ 265 or so.

Burgers and buffalo wings– this pretty much sums out what Homey Café is about. The first time I came here I was surprised that any one could actually find this place; its nestled away in a less well traversed corner of Yuen Long that had I not been a local I would not know that such a place exists. The restaurant is actually quite small so you can more or less expect there to be queues especially over the weekend. Inside the setting is a bar/restaurant set up and the menu is quickly dispatched to you. There are lots of choices, as you would expect from a US styled restaurant, which are mainly BBQ this or baked that. This is just what I’m looking for in a meal: enough meat to fill me up, enough cheese to clog my veins and enough food to let people know I have no intention of doing the Olympics. When the food arrived though, I was surprised: the portions are relatively paltry and I would say that its focused more on quality rather than quantity. Despite being initially disappointed I am happy to report that the burger are very well made and despite being smaller they were a treat for my Saturday afternoon. Any drawbacks? I was seated over at the bar side high chairs and it was really uncomfortable — that nearly ruined the experience for me but the food saved the day.
