Hotdot

As far as I am concerned, this shop has just opened a new store in Wan Chai. Just by the wet market. I’ve got the area well scanned and I had never seen them before. Tonight, as I decided to go for a walk and shake up my legs, there they were. I had no idea they had other shops in Hong Kong and had never heard of them.
It’s an outdoors sports outlet shop that sells brands like Columbia, Mont-​bell, Lafuma, New Balance at really affordable prices (discounted). In this one in Wan Chai (they have other branches around Hong Kong) they carry clothing, socks, some trekking shoes, backpacks, flip flops and umbrellas. I was interested in some of their backpacks, Gregory branded — they are all priced very reasonably at around 1400HKD. This brand can be expensive, depending on the range, and it’s very good quality. Some of the other items that I noticed were their Columbia (some as little as 500HKD) and their Crocs flipflops (230HKD). I haven’t compared to the official websites of these brands but I have a feeling they are definitely cheaper.
The shop is in the category of ‘no-​frills’ — the definition of an outlet, but they do carry a lot of very good brands. I’m not sure why their prices are reduced (old collections?) but you may want to check this place before buying at main sports shops or flagship stores.
