I was told Hong Kong is a great place to get Japanese food and particularly sushi.
Because I live on sushi in Sydney I thought I’d do a comparison.
We went to this place because it was recommended by the Concierge at Hotel Icon, and all their previous recommendations were great.
Beautiful sashimi and extremely pretty… but, although it is said that you eat with your eyes (presumably by people who have not properly considered the danger to the human eyeball posed by the pointy end of a pair of chopsticks) it would be difficult to eat a wicker cane decoration and I elected to leave it untasted. Same with the green leaf that always seems to decorate sushi sashimi plates.
Makoto in Liverpool St Sydney for mine — still the best Sushi I’ve had.
