I have to say that IKEA has the most unique setting of all shops. By that I mean, how smart of them to actually make sure you will have to walk from the start to the end even though the food court is the place you want to visit? Oh, you want just a hotdog? You better start walking now as time is running out! Though it sounds sort of sarcastic, I promise you that I do not mean that. I really do like this place.
It was my favorite hide and seek place when I was little. The store is humongous and it is indoor with air conditioning. No worry about sweating and stuff. And on top of that, it has all kind of stuff you can hide yourself in. The bathing section is my favourite. Joke aside. I believe IKEA really does provide good services for all. If you are looking for any kind of furniture or home appliances, it seems like you can also get them here with the help of professional staff here.
Nowadays I believe the most popular place of the store has to be the Food Court. People keep saying that the meatballs are great, which I have a rather mix feeling about it. They are definitely not bad but are they really that good? Compared to the meatballs you can try else where in Hong Kong, I believe there are some better ones. Sometimes the food here is served cold unfortunately, which tastes like canteen food. Anyhow, I still do love this place. So, not really complaining.

If you were thinking about buying furniture nowadays, it seems hard to think of why you would not go to Ikea and get it all done together. Ikea has a couple of things that strikes me as being quite a good place to do everything:
1) It doesn’t take a scientist to put together their furniture: I’m not technologically nor mechanically gifted so putting stuff together is not my forte. Ikea’ flat pack furniture is the solution for those ham fisted like me and I’m glad that there shops like Ikea so I can have a table at home.
2) The place has mock ups: The mock ups are brilliant for unimaginative people; they let you know what things look like when you put them together. How colours mix, and how different pieces of furniture has a name that you have never heard of. Its always nice to cozy up to your other half if you haven’t got your own place yet.
3) The place has food: Shopping for furniture is a loooong and boring task. You get hungry and thirsty. Ikea has a full food court which serves surprisingly good «Swedish» food at really cheap prices. Not that I’d come here just for it but I definitely drop by every time I go there.
If that’s not enough– then let me ask you this: When was the last time you got furniture somewhere else?
