If there was ever a store to catch the eye of thousands of people every day, it’s Iyara! Located alongside the Escalators, it’s mani pedi chairs are perfectly positioned at the eye level of commuters and tourists alike — all able to go «oooooh that looks nice! I think I’ll get one of those too.»
It then suffers the same fate as many businesses along the escalator route, how do you find it from street level? Fortunately, or rather — cleverly, Iyara is one of those businesses that actually indicates its presence with decent signage, so it won’t be too long before you’re huffing up the stairs. If you can call and book in advance, do. They take walk-​ins but there is no guarantee a technician will be free. I’ve had waxing, massages and mani pedis here and they have all been great. My weekly mani pedi (hey a girl can treat herself …) is one of the things I really miss from my pre-​toddler life.
