If you’re spending a day at Horizon Plaza, there’s no way you can give OVO a miss. Even if you’re just there to shop for clothes, you need to come to OVO just to take a look — I can almost guarantee that you’ll make a purchase, be it for yourself or for a friend!
OVO stocks a lot of really nice furniture and home accessories. The style at OVO is posh, yet subtle, and exquisite, yet not tacky. Think classic-​looking coffee tables with handcrafted details and sturdy dining room chairs that look fresh off an interior design magazine.
The smaller stuff, like the photo frames, the candle stands or just simple decorations are wonderful too. There’s an overarching nature theme at OVO, so there are a lot of nature-​inspired designs that would really add a sophisticated touch to your living room. Some friends and I bought the most beautiful candle stand for a teacher as a farewell gift here. The stand had metal vines stretching up from the base of the stand that perfectly encase where the candles would be — we knew at first sight that this was something that he would like.
Another thing that sets OVO apart from other furniture and home decoration stores is the exceptional service. Besides the candle stand I mentioned above, I’ve also bought a picture frame with my mother for a family friend. Both times, it was the same sales lady and we asked for the item to be gift wrapped — and both times, she wrapped it beautifully. Just watching her at work was quite a sight — I’d never seen anyone wrap anything with such precision before. It took quite some time for her to be done, but I really appreciated her efforts in wrapping a simple gift.
If I were to furnish my living room, I can totally see myself decking it out from floor to ceiling with stuff from OVO. Since it’s an outlet store, OVO is also quite reasonably priced and definitely a bargain!
