Tai Wo is about an hour away (one way) from where I live but the distance has not stopped me from returning again and again. (冇10次都有8,9次) I have literally tried everything on their menu and I can vouch that they have improved a lot over time (e.g. the dishes, service, etc.).
When I first visited them in November 2013, I thought the clams were good but a bit salty. Now, they are just good. It sounds a bit clique but the butterfly clams definitely had me at hello. I always asked if the butterfly clams are available and if I can reserve them when I make my reservations these days.
I really love seeing how their business prospered and I wish the best for them. Perhaps they can finally afford to open a bigger shop closer to town :)
