Robert Walters

Robert Walters is one of the biggest recruiting companies in the world– their operation in Hong Kong is also one of the biggest. In this market where recruiting firms fight for business, they really have to try hard to make themselves stand out. Not that I’m saying how Robert Walters is better than Michael Page and other recruiters, but their approach to people and the general experience just seems that much nicer.
This is actually quite a difficult review to write as I guess everybody’s experience will differ depending on the role you are after and the industry you are in. So I’m just going to look at the general experience. The office is located in the middle of Central which makes it easy for you to get to during short breaks or just to nip out for a bit. Their staff were happy to meet me outside but I just preferred the privacy of an office. The entrance was big and bright and the interview rooms were really quiet.
They were quick to respond to me and the process was rather smooth.
You will note that I have given them 3 stars– that’s because I think no recruitment firm could ever be 5 stars unless you did the application yourself. However, if I had to do a comparison between this firm and their competitors in the market, I would still choose to go for them.
