We wanted to try this place because it was near to our hotel(Courtyard Marriott Shatin) and because it looked so pretty, all lit up at night on the river. We went with a Chinese-speaking friend, which is fairly essential. There is an English language menu, but the options are much more limited than on the Chinese menu. We went for dim sum at noon on a Monday, and the place was nearly full. Reservations are a good idea. We found out later that the prices are way cheaper if you go before noon — a good thing to know. We are mostly vegetarian, but also eat fish. We had steamed shrimp dumplings, steamed peanuts and preserved vegetable dumplings, steamed shrimp and veggie dumplings, fried beancurd rolls with shrimp, a dumpling noodle soup. The standout dish for me was the steamed peanuts and preserved veggie dumplings, but everything was really good. The shrimp was very high quality. It’s supposed to be $$$ but I think that’s for dinner. Dim sum for 3 of us was only USD$ 40. It’s a very pretty place and the food is terrific, so we will be back.

Not many people spoke English but we looked around and pointed at food that looked good from other tables. It worked out. Food was good. It was about $ 200HNK per person so it’s about $ 25 – 30US for the meal but we did have the roast duck and crispy pig combo which was great. The vegetable dish recommended was excellent. Also the steamed rice was tasty. Again only issue was communication so it was a bit confusing for all but we all pointed and used gestures.
