Not the best thai I’ve ever had in my life, but the best thai I’ve had since moving to Germany(also with the real sriracha, not one of the knock-offs). We’d had a long morning of walking around, wanted a break from German/Czech food, and Modry Zub looked promising. The service was among the most friendly and efficient we’ve gotten recently, although they did forget to put the sweetened condensed milk into the thai iced tea, which pretty much just makes it iced black unsweetened tea. Otherwise a good experience though! The food was definitely better than average thai; the Hanoi Papaya Salad was exactly what we wanted, a green papaya salad but without the heat so it was quite refreshing. The chicken pad thai was well done, and I liked that it was less soy-saucy than most pad thais back home. Overall a solid choice if you want a break from standard Eastern-European fare!

A really great Thai restaurant with delicious and authentic meals and very friendly atmosphere. I truly love this place as it always makes the evening special, no matter whether I attend with friends or come here for a romantic dinner. If you are into Asian meals, this is definitely a restaurant to visit :)

I’m giving this place four stars not because of the food, but because the comfortable, clean, lively atmosphere. It’s crazy with all the business and traffic here, but there is nothing in this area, Smíchov, for a simple, healthy, quick meal. There are other Zubs in Prague but this place has a nice design with the wood panel walls and concrete. Stylish. Service was friendly and efficient, not bad when it was totally full for lunch. The soup Tom Kha Gai was watery and too acidic, probably because they don’t want to spend so much money on coconut milk, which was lacking. The red curry was better, and was a little spicy, for czechs maybe too spicy but I just found one chili pepper. also not balanced as thai food should be and a bit oily. The ryzlink white wine was surprisingly good and not a bad deal. good for a quick business lunch, but no thai oasis.
