The guy totally shortchanged me a pound when i was trying to catch the bus and he knew I was trying to catch the bus… because he said «trying to catch the bus, eh?» right before he gave me my change minus a pound. And since i was trying to catch the bus, didn’t count my change until later.
This is important because a pound is the equivalent of ten u.s. dollars, or something close. Man, I was p-​i-​s-​t.
