Fegusons is a little butcher in Airdrie town centre. It is the best butcher in the local area by far and the queues outside the door show this. This shop stays busy from when it opens until it closes. All the produce in here is fantastic — I’ve never had anything bad. In addition to the usual meat products, some bakery items are also sold e.g. rolls, potato scones etc. They also have a range of lower fat options which is great for those people trying to watch their weight. The shop is always absolutely spotless and has a number of staff working behind the counter so the queue always goes down quickly. I also like the fact that the servers never touch any money and it exchanges hands to a cashier via a metal scoop.

Busy shop, slightly expensive but well worth it for the quality of the produce

The best sausages in Scotland. Their products are top notch and I have never had anything dodgy from it. They also have great bakery products, their potato scones and rolls are brilliant. The staff are really helpful, the place is spotless and it is always busy. The staff do not handle money, they ask you to put it in a metal scoop and they hand it to a cashier. This is good for health and safety. I give this place top marks.

This is a great local butchers with a great selection of products. Their square sausage are lovely and best I have ever tasted They also do a really good selection of products which are low in fat and for people who are on the Slimming World diet. All these products are clearly marked and the Curry ones from this range are really good. Loads of friendly staff, so although shop can get really busy you never have to wait for long. It is very expensive though so if you are looking for cheap meat then this is not the place for you.
