Man Zen

AMAZING crispy duck!
First thing I eat the second I land in Manchester and the last meal I eat before I go back home.

This is my favourite Chinese, I really like the Yang Sing in Manchester and think that’s up there as one of the best but as Man Zen is closer to me and the prices are different this is my first choice.
The actual restaurant looks fantastic, a lot of chinese designs/​décor to look at and it’s all very fancy. The staff are very friendly and always ask me if I need a drink before I’ve even sat down.
WARNING: Don’t take your Dad that likes asian girls. he WILL hit on the waiting staff and embarrass you!
The food is really, really good. It’s all fresh from scratch they don’t premake anything apart from the soups on the day. They do a £9.90 deal per person before 7pm which is excellent because you get 3 high quality courses, the drinks aren’t too expensive either.
I can definitely recommend the Salt with garlic and chilli wings they do, they’re the best I’ve ever had and I’ve even ordered literally 4 portions for myself and nothing else as my dinner! I’m a big fan of noodles so the special chow mein/​singapore noodles are a big hit with me. This is where I also get my chinese takeaways from now I realised they have this option. Definitely a number 1 for me, give it a try!

Man Zen offers great traditional Chineese cuisine with great tasting speciality dishes, many suitable for vegetarians. However on weekdays and saturday evenings there are ridiculously loud noise from customers and tables become full rather quickly.
Despite that food is delivered quickly and tastes superb.
