Popped in here for the first time today to catch up with a friend. I prefer it to the other chains in Altrincham town centre — the outdoor seating area has overhead heating unlike the others I’ve visited, which is a bonus during the confusing hot-cold weather conditions experienced during the change of season. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the toilet was considerably cleaner than Costa or Café Nero. This is a coffee shop with a heart and they have soya milk… result

I popped in to Rhode Island Coffee with Mark D. for a pre– Altrincham Market Unilocal Event meet up. Mark suggested this coffee shop, being from the area, and it was a great choice. You can tell this place is new — all of the décor is shiny and there is plenty of comfy seating to provide a really relaxed atmosphere in what is usually a very busy shopping district. The coffee /tea and general drinks menu was to the standard you’d expect from any coffee shop — and the cakes looked amazing, although unfortunately it was a little early to try these! The latte I had was good and the overall vibe I got from the café was a pleasant one. I’d go back.

Wonderful coffee house in the centre of Altrincham. Really excellent food at low prices. I loved the chicken panini and will be definitely coming back for a piece of cake! Was extremely busy on Saturday afternoon though, bit of a struggle to find a seat!
