Amazing food! Locally sourced traditional English and Meditteranean dishes on offer.
Sat outside in the blazing sunshine (in March?!) last week and had such an enjoyable lunch. Great service, good location, awesome food with lots of choice on the menu. Reasonably priced, too.

my wife and I dropped in while away for a romantic weekend and I have to say that we wouldn’t hesitate to return the scallops my wife had were perfect my woodpigeon was brilliant, filling and tasty mains followed with chocolate fudge cake for afters, if was the nicest fudge cake I have ever eaten. during the meal we had excellent service and had the choice of warm drinks like mulled wine and hot pimms, just the thing after a chilly day in the lakes. reommended dining.

This is set in an older building that is full of character the food that is served is a mix of english and stuff from the medittarian The place is clean with enough room between the tables though it is not as bright a place as I would like The service is generally good and the food is reasonably priced you can get small and large portions of most meals though the smaller portion is enough for me
The feta salad is lovely and then there is a wonderful cheese and olive tart to try I havent had the puddings here as I have never had the room but I might give them a try next time
