I love Bagel Bean — great food and coffee. Really delicious. They also have lovely salads. I would highly recommend this place as it serves really tasty grub. You can also get takeaway from Bagel Bean which is good as it’s such a busy café, hence getting a table can be tricky. They have a huge menu including every bagel you could possibly think of. I especially love the Veg Selection on the menu, with the Napoli Melt being my absolute favourite.

Did i mention the bacon is amazing? service is great, prices are quite reasonable (even for a yank), and coffee is always top class. I was afforded a free breakfast in a local 4star hotel, yet most mornings i chose to swing by «the Bean» for a bacon/egg/cheese bagel sandwich… which is pretty much amazing. coffee and breakfast for 5 – 6 pounds, not too shabby.
New location (across from the market place theatre) is very nice, couches galore, but i like the old location, just feels like home (been going there 6 yrs now). nearly makes the flight from California worth it by itself… ;)
Opens at 7am M-Sat, closes at 5p. closed sundays (unfortunately).

The best bagels ever try a BC melt they are lovely could eat them all the time. Staff are lovely and the café itself is so cool a real shabby chique place to eat.

Lovely food and staff. Always a good feed. Not so good if you don’t like bagels though.
