BHS is a little like a British institution in the High Street, rather like Marks & Spencers or Woolworths. I can never really make my mind up about their clothing ranges. They are cheap, supposedly well made, but just seem to lack in styling. However, what I really go in here for, especially at Christmas time, are the numerous lines of unusual gifts and presents that they do at very good prices. Some fantastic ideas and gadgets to be had. The only point to note is that you need to get their early on when they first come out because the good ones sell out quick.

Another good department store in Aylesbury including clothing, household items, and at the moment quite a good range of Christmas gifts. There were good ideas for everyone like hampers with Tea and Jam or Chocolates and alcohol. The layout of sections is not the best and can be a bit confusing. There isn’t a café although the shop is linked to Beatties where you can get a coffee
