Quaint would be the operative word here. Chiltern operates the rail line out of Marylebone station in London and surprisingly runs as far north as Birmingham and Kidderminster. I was on the way to Great Missenden — this line uses a more local style car(no electric outlets on board) and stops at a few places that are also on the Metropolitan line, such as Chorleywood and Amersham. Comfortable enough, the trains could perhaps run a bit more often. Otherwise, I found it reasonably priced and timely transportation that got me where I wanted to go.
