Évaluation du lieu : 3 Reigate and Banstead, United Kingdom
Usually I shop at Epsom; recently went to Banstead. Since the rebuild due to a fire they have rebuilt a new car park and changed the interior totally. Why did I venture there? Well Sir Brad and the Kings of Cycle had started at Epsom their race, and I did not want to find closed roads.

This Waitrose is ok — good car park at the back, although I can imagine that it gets absolutely packed at the weekend! It has the smallest café in the world — three tables, but unbelievably good cumberland sausages in a roll! Their coffee is fab, and they serve skimmed milk(yey!) It was very busy on a Friday morning and the aisles are quite narrow, causing a bit of ‘shoppers’ rage’ occasionally.

Quality of the food is great, shelves always stocked(it sounds basic but in some supermarkets even that is a challenge!). Very happy.

Waitrose in Banstead is a place of legend.
Burnt to the ground on December 12th2008, leaving it looking like this:
And now it’s all shiny and new! And a wonderful shopping experience. Deserved 5 stars for building something so good in such a rapid period of time. Also bonus points for the fire, which was pretty awesome and has put Banstead on the map, for a reason other than Best Area for Pensioners to Live In. Big waste of food though, that fire. And that wine section must literally have gone up like a pyre.
