Frankie & Benny’s UK

So I have been to this Frankie & Benny’s countless of times before and have always had a good experience. I loved it there. So, I decided to book a table for my birthday — then the wonderful staff said if I signed up on the website, I am allowed free food on my birthday! I thought this was amazing, what a great idea! Again, when I called to confirm the booking, I was told if it is your birthday you receive a free meal! So the big day finally arrives, I’m laughing and joking with friends, having a wonderful time. Then the bill comes… and my smile drops. It was only the main dish which was taken out of the bill. On the voucher it says I am entitled to a free meal, which it also says on the website. Nowhere does it say only the main dish is free. I was not made aware that only one dish was free. It should have been made clear to me. When I complained on the Frankie & Benny’s website, they didn’t even apologise and were quite rude actually. The fact that only the main dish was free should have been made clear to me because it was not on the website, the voucher and members of staff didn’t tell me. The last time I checked the word meal did not signify one dish. This should be made clear. Very disappointed with this experience which cast a dim light on my birthday.

This is a great place to pop in and have a bit of lunch it’s right next to showcase cinema, I like to grab the chicken and bacon sandwich after a film, the place is really well done out all the old Italian pics on the walls crooners on the sound system even playing in the toilets, it’s very clean the staff are ok but I’m only giving it 3 stars because I think there’s not enough choice on the menu.
