Small, homely yet modern restaurant with a lovely bar at the front to wait until you are seated. Welcomed nicely by all of the staff and they are always very friendly. Bit of a wait at the bar but that’s because they are quite busy which is a good thing and well worth the wait. The Manager is very friendly and always helps me decide what to drink and introduced me to wine spritzers which changed my world lol! Seating is cosy yet modern. Food is always absolutely delicious, perfect portions not too big not too small. Great flavours and hot well presented food. Great choice on the menu and priced accordingly.
The building is characterful with windy stairs to the toilet which always adds a few points for me when they maintain original features! You can also get takeaway which is amazing, restaurant style food in the comfort of your own home! Couldn’t fault this place.

I have been to Spizzico many times and have experienced many different dish’s. For me, the food never lets me down with the great tasting food they cook.
The staff are always friendly and are happy to get anything extra to make my meal how i want it.
If you havnt tried it, give it a go and im sure you and your family/​friends will enjoy it

Good Italian in an area with many good Italian restaurants. Probably the most swanky of the lot. I went there with the girlfriend a few weeks ago. The staff were friendly and everything went quite smooth. The food was good without being great and overall the experience was very enjoyable.
I would recommend Spizzico, especially for a first date.

A good Italian/​International restaurant with an excellant range of food including ribs with shoestring fries, fajitas, jambalaya. It is very well decorated and service is generally very good. Well worth a visit. Very popular.
