amazing the steak is fantastic, we have been to alot of nice steak houses, this place is great. You cut your own steak big or small all with real chips. But you must book we waited 45 mins on a satursday night. GREAT THANKS GUYS.

this place has just changed hands and new menue is very reasonably priced with a specials board to support it great play area so young one tired himself out in that so i think great place for families.

Easily accessible off the M1 but little noise from the road. Recently refurbished this place is quite big and nicely set out over 2 floors. Big car park and plenty of beer garden for lazy summer days. Disabled access ok if you stay downstairs.
Nice food if a little pricey. Bit draughty upstairs in Winter.
This pub owns a field/rough ground opposite which they rent out to travelling circuses and fairs — good place for them due to the sufficient parking and noise being kept to a minimum due to the rural setting.
One word of warning — this pub is frequented one or two nights a week by young boys in their beefed-up Clios. Gets very busy and not the night to go down for a quite drink! Can cause quite a bit of disturbance for the locals.
