Croyde beach is a lovely beach. It is a popular beach with both the locals and the holiday makers of the North Devon area. The beach is not huge but has plenty of space and is a nice and clean beach. Croyde as a town is very popular too and supports the beach very well. The beach is a sandy beach, with some rocks and rocks pools. There are usually shops on the beach area and near by. There are carparks that can be used to access the beach. This beach is also lovely in the winter for those winter coastal walks. Often windy on the coast but some truly awesome views.

Croyde Beach is one of my favourite beaches in Devon. The main reason being is that it is a sandy beach and the water looks so nice. The beach is always very clean and looked after. There is normally a lifeguard there keeping an eye on people in the water. They normally put up flags so you no where the current is and they tell you to swim between them and then the surfers go outside them. As you walk into the beach there is normally a notice board that says all the time tides on it. There is also a small beach bar that is on the way to the beach where you can get a drink or an ice cream for when you go for a walk. To the side of the beach there are big sand dunes that you can walk along. In the summer the beach can get very busy so it isn’t so private. But overall a stunning beach.

Croyde beach is a stunning beach and one of the best and most popular surfing beaches. it is quite small so get there early if you want to park. The adjoining village is gorgeous with the best icecream shop in the country(in my opinion). Ice cream with devon clotted cream on top you dont get better than that.

beautiful small beach, though can be quiet dangerous with some strong riptides, so dont be fooled. keep your eyes on the kids. the beach is patrolled by lifeguards. well known surfers beach so can become very crowded when the surfs up, not a place to learn the craft in.

Beautiful sandy beach in the heart of North Devon. Great for surfers with wonderful local pubs selling great pub food. Great place to visit in the summer(very busy!!!) and in the winter for a bracing walk along the coast
